The Decision

I called out from the garden to my servant Lucius and I told him to light a candle in my study and return after he has done so. I know now that Caesar's death is the only thing good for Rome. Even though I don't have any reason to take him out I ust do it because he might change when he gets the crown. Lucius told me that they're already fifteen days into March. I sent him to see hwo was knocking at the gate. Lucius told me that it was my brother-in-law, Cassius, and wants to see you. As he walks in others follow him and they had on cloaks so no one would recognize them. After Cassius and I are done taking I decide that everyone puts their hand in, one on top of the other. Cassius said that we would swear an oath but I said not to because i just wanted everyones promise that they will succeed or die on the attempt. It almost seems like I'm the leader of the conspirators because once I say something, they all listen. We also thought about taking Antony out, but we decided not to because it would seem as though as we were butchers instead of heroes.
